Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Regular Maintenance
Switch off and unplug the appliance before carrying out any maintenance work. Ensure the appliance is serviced by an authorized engineer using genuine spare parts only.
Cleaning the Condenser and Compressor
Once or twice a year, dust the condenser (black grill) and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush or vacuum cleaner to maintain efficiency.
Avoiding Heat Sources
Do not install the appliance close to sources of heat like boilers or radiators. Place it in a cool, well-ventilated room and ensure the air openings are not obstructed.
Defrosting
Regularly check and defrost the refrigerator to prevent excessive frost and ice build-up. Follow the defrosting instructions as specified in the manual.
Proper Food Storage
Avoid storing warm food or evaporating liquids. Ensure food is packed in airtight packages to prevent unnecessary frosting. Thaw frozen food in the fridge to ensure safer defrosting.
